Our tech services provide mechanical sampling design and commissioning for all bulk particulate materials.

Job Description

We are seeking Laboratory Technicians to join our Energy Minerals team based in Mayfield West, to carry out efficiently and effectively all laboratory procedures in accordance with documented test methods and work instructions.

Our key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Laboratory Supervisor
  • Help to maintain a technically first-class laboratory
  • Carry out any routine laboratory analysis
  • Basic Mathematical skills
  • Carry out equipment calibration and routine laboratory equipment maintenance under supervision (Training will be provided)
  • Help to dispatch samples and ensuring correct storage
  • Monitor stock levels and advise if re-ordering is required
  • Know and understand OH&S procedures
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Experience handling acids and chemicals (Training provided)
  • Computer skills; Excel, Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A flexible schedule to cover various shifts and rosters
