The Role

Working full time, the Practice Lead – Community Services will drive, support and work within Centrecare’s Therapeutic Framework to ensure best practice consistency in program design, program application (integrity), service delivery, and outcome measurement.  Reporting directly to the General Manager, it will assist with implementation of services as well as community development initiatives by planning, providing leadership and support to management and staff.

A few specifics

  • Assist in supporting best practice data collection and reporting.
  • Develop training modules on Centrecare’s Therapeutic Framework to support staff.
  • Ensure the service delivery of designated programs are aligned with contractual requirements.
  • Facilitate policies and procedures to better support designated programs.
  • Provide leadership and coordination of the different stages of projects when requested.
  • Plan, develop and coordinate implementation of projects and community resources.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a well-rounded and experienced social worker, psychologist or clinical practice lead with a strong therapeutic background who is wanting to broaden their experience into community projects.  A strong communicator with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with Senior Management on long term community projects and goals.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Recognised qualification is a Human Services discipline.
  • Minimum of five years relevant clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families.
  • Experience and confidence in the delivery of training.
  • Ability to work from different Centrecare locations including rural and remote.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to build and maintain rapport with staff from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership.
  • Ability to problem solve and respond appropriately to a variety of situations.
