This Care Service Employee will be located in our facility in Greystanes NSW.

As a Care Service Employee, you will:

  • Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities
  • Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing
  • Reporting any changes of resident to the Registered Nurse on the shift duty
  • Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids and ensuring the resident's comfort
  • Assist in mealtimes and social activities.

We are looking for a Casual Care Service Employee, must be flexible to work morning, afternoon and night shifts and has availability on weekdays and weekends.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • A Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support
    • Experience in similar role in aged care at least 6 months is desirable
    • Availability to work on a rotating roster basis, which may involve shifts in the morning, afternoon and night
    • A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
    • Effective time management and reporting skills
