An overview of our role
In this permanent role, You will bring your knowledges, skills and experience and inject new ideas and new ways of working into the group. Lead design and engage, coordinate and collaborate with project teams and their projects across Digital. Lead the design and architecture of the integration platforms.
This is your opportunity to ensure optimal design, performance, reliability, and scalability of Jemena's Integration / Automation / API technology platforms; across both cloud and hybrid environments. Lead the planning, design, development, implementation, and management of technology solutions across the landscape to support strategic business initiatives and ensure operational continuity. You will also provide expert advice and consultation to projects and BAU and be a key enabler in the development and execution of the strategy and roadmap.
Collaboration with other IT specialists, project managers, and external vendors to ensure that platform projects are completed on time and within budget, delivering the highest value to the organization. Also your opportunity to mentor junior engineers and other IT staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team.
Participation in an on-call 24x7 roster may be required to support some or all platform components, reflecting the essential nature of maintaining high platform availability and performance across Jemena’s operational landscapes.
A little about you
- experience managing and optimizing Integration / Automation / API platforms across both cloud environments (AWS) and on-premises
- capability in handling complex architectures and designs ensuring they are robust, scalable, and fully aligned with business requirements
- track record in deploying, managing, and optimizing enterprise Integration / Automation / API solutions + deep understanding of domain architecture and design, and service management framework
- expertise in developing and maintaining security postures that meet compliance standards across all platform operations
- technical design and implementation experience; providing guidance and insights that ensure project deliverables are innovative, practical, and aligned with strategic business objectives
- contribute to the development of new strategies, technologies, and methodologies
Qualifications / certifications & Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business
- understanding of how to design, deploy, and manage end to end Integration / Automation / API solutions effectively, including cloud and on-premises, security, compliance, and cost management
- understanding of underlying infrastructure technologies, including Compute, Storage, Backup, and Virtualization
- ability to develop and implement robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions that meet current and future business needs across the Integration / Automation / API domain.
