The Role:
  • Partner with a variety of key stakeholders and advise on a broad range of commercial matters.
  • Leadership of the CBRE Pacific Legal team.
  • Develop and implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Address complex and significant legal, regulatory and reputational matters.
  • Support best practice governance as a member of the Pacific Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee.
  • Liaise with external parties including regulators and insurers.
  • Provide expert advice on all significant contractual matters.
  • Management of all Company Secretary matters across the Pacific region.
About You:
  • An experienced Commercial Lawyer within Australia possessing a significant post admission track record, ideally gained within both private practice and in-house.
  • Property knowledge and/or experience in regulatory matters is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional executive presence, with superior communication skills. Capable of navigating complex global challenges whilst providing strategic legal leadership and influencing and empowering stakeholders on a local level.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership, balancing risk management with business objects in a fast-paced global environment.
  • A practical-minded, commercially astute legal professional who is pro-active, responsive, service-driven and delivery focused with sound judgment and analytical skills.
  • A leader with a transparent, inclusive, leadership style who adopts a collaborative approach, shares information and champions diversity.
