MG Plumbing & Maintenance are seeking experienced Maintenance & Commercial Plumbers to join our team.

This is an opportunity to join a vibrant hard working team that appreciates balance. We are seeking skilled Maintenance & Commercial Plumbers for an immediate start.

MG Plumbing & Maintenance is a locally owned, family operated, well-established plumbing service provider, known for our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We serve residential and commercial clients with a wide range of plumbing and carpentry needs. Our core business in plumbing, with a carpentry division and 20 staff in total.

Ideal Maintenance Plumber Candidate:

  • Has a wide range of experience plumbing maintenance

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Good customer service and enjoys relationship building

  • Has a high standard in all aspects of work with attention to detail

  • Must have valid drivers license

  • Must be able to obtain a Working with Children's card and Police Check

  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Work hours are Monday to Friday 40-45 hours a week on average with occasional overtime and Saturdays as required

Ideal Commercial Plumber Candidate:

  • Ability to read plans and run jobs

  • Hits targets and works to budgets

  • High level of safety

  • Be able to work in a team environment

  • Installation from inground to above ground plumbing services

  • Carry out works in a timely manner ensuring deadlines are met

  • Takes pride in works and looks after tools and machinery

  • Problem solving with high standards

  • Ability to operate machinery is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues

  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems

  • Collaborate with contractors and other team members

  • Follow building plans and blueprints

  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a plumber (minimum 1 year preferred)

  • Valid plumbing license

  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment

  • Amazing communication and customer service skills

  • Valid driver's license

  • Gas license preferred but not required
