The opportunities for connection and growth span nationally across Australia and into NZ.About the role and you:SEN Team's and Melbourne Mavericks are seeking a passionate Community Coordinator to lead our community engagement efforts, fostering connections with fans, schools, businesses, and local netball associations.
While your primary focus will be on Mavericks, you will also provide support to SEN's WNBL teams, Bendigo Spirit and Perth Lynx, assisting with community initiatives and engagement where needed.This role is critical in strengthening the Mavericks' presence within Victoria, growing grassroots participation, and ensuring our players and brand have a meaningful impact in the community.
Working closely with marketing, events, partnerships and high-performance teams, you will develop and execute programs that enhance fan engagement and align with our club's vision.Key Responsibilities:Lead community engagement, building relationships with schools, associations, and businesses to expand our presence.Develop and manage participation programs such as junior academies, netball clinics, and grassroots initiatives to foster engagement and growth.Coordinate athlete appearances at community events, working closely with the high-performance team.Collaborate with marketing and events teams to deliver impactful activations that align with the Mavericks' brand and ethos.Support SEN Teams (Bendigo Spirit & Perth Lynx) with community initiatives as required, ensuring alignment with fan engagement objectives.Capture and analyse data to track the impact of programs, identify trends, and enhance community strategies.What We're Looking For:A proactive and dynamic community builder with experience in sports engagement, event coordination, or grassroots development.Strong relationship management skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.Understanding of data collection and analysis to measure the impact of community programs.A Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one).Why Join the Mavericks & SEN Teams?Be part of an exciting, fast-growing netball club in the Suncorp Super Netball League.Work in a dynamic and rewarding sports environment, making a tangible impact in the community.Gain exposure to basketball through SEN Teams, contributing to initiatives for Bendigo Spirit & Perth Lynx.Access to professional development opportunities within an innovative and expanding sports network.If you are passionate about sport, community engagement, and building strong fan connections, we'd love to hear from youSports Entertainment Network is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals and encourages applications from a diverse range of candidates, including people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
