Bookkeeper / Accounts and Administration Officer

This position is an integral part of our organisation and will provide support in various areas, including bookkeeping, sales administration, payroll, and general office duties. The successful candidate will report directly to the Customer Service Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and perform bookkeeping tasks using Xero accounting software.
- Payroll: Assist with payroll processing, including maintaining employee records, calculating salaries, and processing payments.
- General Office Duties: Provide administrative support such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, filing, and organising in a busy sales environment.
- Sales Administration: Assist the sales team with order processing, invoicing, and maintaining customer records.
- Sales Support: Assisting sales team during peak periods processing basic sales enquiries.
Requirements :
- Xero experience is desirable
- Accounts / Bookkeeping knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Good sense of humour and strong work ethic working within a close-knit sales team is essential.
