What you will do You bridge technology and business value and are the go-to person who's responsible and accountable for the inception, design, delivery and testing of solutions that work.
As the Junior Product Manager for Data Engineering you will support the delivery of multiple data strategies through the development of our data platform.
You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team with OKRs (Objectives & Key Results). You'll work with your team to get things done and advocate for the team, explaining how your solutions deliver value for customers and contribute to THE ICONIC's success.
It is expected that you: Be the customer voice at the table Prioritise and have a clear framework that allows easy explanation why we are doing A instead of B. Have a clear overview of what the team is set to achieve and how it relates to the company goals. Understand the viability, feasibility and desirability of what's set to be delivered. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams and/or charts. Improve team velocity by analysing current performance, experimenting with new ways of working, improving team engagement and measuring and surfacing agile metrics. What we are looking for 2+ years in an agile and product environment, as a Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst in the Data space Experience in supporting and delivering data engineering projects Strong organisational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Good stakeholder and relationship management Documenting, monitoring and revising the following artefacts in support of delivery: product requirements, process maps, use cases, user acceptance test plans, business models, data models and flows, project plans, and release notes Experience in using SQL, data models and databases Working with data engineers and agile development teams on design, definition, documentation and implementation of features for web applications, business infrastructure and data structure Life at THE ICONIC From our ways of working to our growth mindset and sustainable approach, we each add unique value and have an incredible amount of fun doing it People are our greatest asset and our ICONITE experience is designed to empower you to do your best work.
