Queens Beach State School is located in beautiful Bowen in North Queensland, just an hour from Airlie Beach.
We are looking for a Deputy Principal to join our Leadership Team on a temporary full-time basis, from 21 April 2025 until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.
In this role you will work as a member of the leadership team, contributing strategic and analytical thinking to drive the school's improvement agenda and positive educational outcomes for our students.

As Deputy Principal, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
