Portfolio Director

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Director with exceptional business acumen to oversee multiple childcare centres. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities Include Yet Are Not Limited To:
- Ensure the centres operate within the centres policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations requirements.
- Maintain & develop positive relationships & effective communication with the centres Directors.
- Develop & implement the centres programs, systems and operational processes to ensure the successful running of the centres.
- Demonstrated proven experience of childcare administration, fair and reasonable Staff Management practices in Childcare, Financial and budget management and reporting, Industry Regulation processes and procedures and Department liaison and reporting experience.
- Proven experience with current NQF, EYLF and NQS guidelines.
- Managing & guiding staff with their professional development & their individual goals & performance.
- To carry out centre audits at all times to ensure that the centre environment is conducive to children, families, staff and visitors.
- Assisting Nominated Supervisors in reaching maximum occupancy.
- Supporting the WH&S policies to ensure the centres are a safe environment for educators, children, parents and visitors.
- Ensuring that Centre is accredited and meets QIP and NQF standards.
- Responsible for the management of ACECQA reporting.
- Responsible for ensuring all centres are well prepared for Assessment and Rating.
- Bachelor's in early childhood education (Or ACECQA assessed equiv.), Diploma qualified applicants will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience in a Centre Director role or similar.
- Multisite management experience (6+).
- Full driver's license.
- National Police Check (within 6 months).
- Team mentality, with a passion to inspire.
- Genuine passion for delivering high-quality learning experiences and care to children.
- Strong business acumen.
- Valid WWCC check.
