We are seeking a proactive Project Manager, to join our Program Performance, Defence team in Perth and work with a group of highly skilled specialists. You'll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of Defence and Government clients in Western Australia and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future.

The Work We Do Is Vital To Enabling Capability And Operations For Defence. It's The Technical Expertise And The Depth Of Knowledge Of Our People That Really Sets Us Apart. Here Are The Key Things You Will Do:

  • Manage the execution of Estate Works projects for SA Defence Bases and Barracks.
  • Manage schedule to ensure that they are delivered to client expectations, timeframes and specifications.
  • Manage varying scopes of works on projects from concept design through to handover.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management.
  • Report to the Portfolio Lead and Program Director on status, progress and completion of projects.

Alongside your industry experience in a similar role, you'll also have:

  • An excellent understanding of Project Management and Contract Administration.
  • A passion for infrastructure projects that make a difference.
  • Consultancy project management and experience on Defence projects is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications in technical discipline such as a project management, construction management, engineering or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional skills in report writing, presentation creation, and client document preparation, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and review design documentation.
  • Ability to assess Contractor documentation (e.g. payment and variation claims, EoTs).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and accountable approach to problem solving.
  • Be an Australian Citizen and eligible for security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
