Aussie Kids Kindergarten at Mermaid Waters is seeking passionate, caring Diploma or Cert III Qualified Educator to join our team in the Nursery on a permanent part time basis 5 days a week. The successful applicants will possess a passion for high quality care and education.

The Qualified Educator position encompasses the following:-

  • Nurturing, caring for and educating children aged birth - 5 years

  • Assisting in planning and implementing a play-based, emergent curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework

  • Delivering consistent high quality care and presentation to all work practices

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with team members, families, children and the wider community

Selection Criteria

  • Diploma or Cert III Qualified

  • Available on a permanent basis 5 days a week

  • Experience essential

  • Current Working with Children Check

  • Senior First Aid and CPR, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

  • A passion and enthusiasm for learning

  • A desire to create warm and inviting learning spaces for children

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Be able to enhance a great team environment

  • Knowledge of current regulations and Early Years Learning Framework
