WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience as a mechanic or trade assistant with a strong background in the maintenance and repair of EWPs, earthmoving equipment, small engine equipment as well as many other varieties of equipment.

  • Relevant trade qualifications are highly desirable but happy to speak with the right mechanically minded individual.

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

  • A solid understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  • The ability to work independently and efficiently as a team

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

  • Computer Literacy and ability to Maintain detailed service records and documentation.

  • Have a valid Australian Drivers Licence.

About the role

Are you a skilled and versatile Mechanic or Trade Assistant looking for an exciting short-term opportunity? Master Hire, is seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Mechanic or Trade Assistant to join our team for a 3-month period, in our Toowoomba location. Every day is a new challenge at Master Hire

In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for but not limited:

  • Conducting scheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment.

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with machinery and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.

  • Ensuring a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
