This is a highly technical, hands-on BA role, with a strong focus on APIs, integrations, data mapping and end-to-end system interactions. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, developers, technology teams and third-party vendors to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and deliver practical solutions.
What you’ll do:
Lead technical analysis across a range of technology and digital transformation initiatives.
Analyse and document APIs, integrations, interfaces and system-to-system interactions.
Create data mapping documentation and analyse end-to-end data flows.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Analyse system workflows and design end-to-end technical and business processes.
Work closely with developers, architects and vendors to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
Partner with business stakeholders to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and drive outcomes.
Take ownership of requirements and independently drive initiatives through to delivery.
Support testing, issue resolution and production readiness.
Work across lending technology, including origination, servicing and broker platforms.
What we’re looking for:
7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst.
3-5+ years’ experience in banking or financial services, with end-to-end lending lifecycle experience across loan origination, servicing and broker platforms is essential
Strong hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, data mapping and technical system flows.
Ability to confidently interpret technical documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI, integration specifications and solution designs.
Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile delivery.
Proven experience working with developers, technology teams and third-party vendors.
Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and push back when required.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
