The Australian Digital Health Agency leads the national effort to digitally enable Australia’s health system. We support the delivery of person-centred, connected healthcare through the development and adoption of digital health services and systems. Our work includes managing My Health Record, Electronic prescriptions, and the 1800MEDICARE app, ensuring a healthier future for all Australians through connected healthcare. Our opportunities We're looking for experienced, strategic professionals to join our team in one of two exciting EL1 opportunities: Senior Policy Advisor or Program Manager. Both roles have multiple vacancies available. Both roles suit people who enjoy working in complex environments, building strong stakeholder relationships, providing high-quality advice, and contributing to nationally significant digital health initiatives. You'll bring strong communication skills, sound judgement, analytical thinking, and the ability to navigate competing priorities while delivering outcomes. What's the difference? EL1 Senior Policy Advisor This role is focused on policy development and strategic advice. You'll undertake policy analysis, develop recommendations, interpret legislative and regulatory frameworks, and provide advice to senior executives and stakeholders. You'll be well suited if you have experience leading policy development, conducting research and analysis, and influencing complex policy outcomes. EL1 Program Manager This role is focused on delivery and implementation. You'll lead complex programs and projects, manage risks and governance, oversee resources and budgets, and support teams to successfully deliver strategic outcomes. You'll be well suited if you have a strong background in project or program management, implementation, change management, and leadership. Lead and build high performing teams Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Exercise sound judgement in dynamic and evolving environments. experience:
Senior Policy Advisor Policy development and advisory work. Research, analysis and evidence-based recommendations. Legislative and regulatory interpretation. Influencing policy and strategic decision-making. Program Manager Leading complex programs and projects. Governance, risk and benefits management. Team leadership and change implementation. Delivery of outcomes in complex environments. Salary:
$133,951
- $152,773 plus 15.4% superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
