Description

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Northern Australia) Ltd. is seeking a creative, dynamic, and committed High School Teacher to join the team at Cairns Adventist College.

This is a full-time teaching position, with a priority focus on:

  • English / HASS

The role may also include the opportunity to teach Science / LOTE / The Arts depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to grow and strengthen our English program as we grow our school, while contributing to a holistic and engaging secondary learning experience for students.

Skills And Experiences

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (degree level)
  • Be eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers

  • Be supportive of the ethos and values of Seventh-day Adventist education

Active involvement in the Seventh-day Adventist Church would be highly regarded.
