This is a rolling 2:1 roster- 3-6 months with potential to run for 12+ months for the right candidate. Carrying out dewatering, poly-pipe welding and pipeline works on a well-established gold mine site.

- $63-$68 an hour depending on experience and tickets held

Duties & Responsibilities
- Welding HDPE, stringing pipe, and loading welding machines
- Flushing and hydrotesting
- Trenching and general earthworks
- Dewatering, including bore pump installs, wellpoint/spearpoint systems, and submersible pump setups
- Installing and managing discharge lines and monitoring drawdown/water levels
- Working independently and leading small crews
- Reading and interpreting HDPE and civil construction drawings
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience in HDPE butt fusion and electrofusion welding on mining or construction sites
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating Polywelding equipment - (McElroy - T618, T500, T900 and Dixon welder)
- Minimum 1 year operating machinery on site
- Experience conducting HDPE hydrotesting
- Experience with both Dixon and McElroy
- Polywelding certificate (Butt Weld & Electrofusion or Extrusion welding) issued within the last 2 yrs
- C Class driver's licence
- Excavator
- Poly Welding Tickets (Butt Fusion / Electro Fusion within the last 2 yrs)
- Rigging
- Chainsaw
- Dogging
- Telehandler (minimum)
A successful applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen, and currently reside in Australia with full working rights.
