**The centre and the role**:
This gorgeous 35 place centre located in Campbelltown NSW, provides an environment and learning culture for children to be active and engaged learners. A child's ability is one factor in achievement; however, the amount of effort a child makes has, even more to do with their success in learning.

Each child has the natural ability to question, interpret and understand the world around them. The educational focus is on the individual strengths and needs of the child and children are always encouraged to explore, have opinions and provide suggestions.

This is the role you have been waiting for in a family run Long Day Care service with over 25 years experience in children's care and education. You will be working as the room leader in the Toddlers Room of this exceptional privately owned child care centre.

**Your day will see you**:

- **Working with a wonderful team in the Preschool room you will be responsible for planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development.**:

- **Maintain ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information.**:

- **Assisting with daily room tasks - e.g. activity preparation and meal times.**:

- **Assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards.**:

- **Ensuring compliance with relevant Government Regulations**

**You will need**:

- **Have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and care or a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent teaching qualification.**:

- **Have experience in working with children aged 4-6 years old**:

- **Have a great personality and passion for children and their development.**:

- **Be a creative and cooperative team person who loves and respects children in all their individuality and developmental stages.**:

- **Be committed to excellence in early childhood education and care.**:

- **Have the right to live and work in Australia.**

**Salary**: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
