Here at Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart, we are one of Tasmania's largest and most successful hotels. We have 244 guest rooms and 11 function spaces to host events up to 1,100 people And if that's not enough to entice you, we also have a pool, gym and sauna, the Atrium Bar and Restaurant Tasman. Every day is different at our hotel and we love working in such a dynamic and exciting environment

**About the role**

As a porter, you're the face of the hotel, as you greet and welcome all our guests and visitors. You'll be the guests 'go-to' person throughout their stay with us, whether it's assisting them with their luggage, providing advice on what to do while they are in Hobart, or valet parking their car; you have the opportunity to make their stay one to remember

You will be joining a team of likeminded people who love what they do and will support and encourage you to succeed in your new journey.

**About you**

You'll need to be naturally friendly, welcoming and confident, great with communication and able to quickly build rapport with people. You will also enjoy the challenge of a busy, fast paced environment, and be able to use your initiative to go above and beyond in every task you do.
