Health Product Manager

The Opportunity:
The Health Product Manager, working with the CVP Manager Health Propositions, is responsible for leading and developing the health insurance components for Bupa's Health Care propositions under the Savannah strategy.
This role involves ownership of the Connected Care Customer Value Proposition for the Consumer, Corporate, and International portfolios.
The manager will collaborate with product, portfolio management, and Health Propositions teams to identify opportunities and deliver products that meet business objectives.
This position also supports membership and gross margin management and acts as the customer champion for Bupa customers accessing new health care propositions and services through their HI product and membership.
What You'll Be Doing
Here's what you can look forward to in this role:
Lead the development, management, and performance of the health insurance customer value proposition, including product offerings and customer experience.
Conduct competitive assessments and recommend changes to product hierarchies.
Support the design of new insurance products requiring different commercial models.
Assist in developing funding models, including health pilot protocols in collaboration with the Department of Health.
Work with operational teams to ensure seamless customer service.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll ideally have:
Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or related disciplines (preferred).
Proven relationship management skills.
Demonstrable leadership abilities.
Experience in product development, including management strategies and knowledge of Australian healthcare legislation.
Analytical skills with an understanding of data analysis, business viability, and technical feasibility.
Familiarity with Agile, Lean, HCD approaches, and digital tools.
Experience in healthcare and healthcare technologies (advantageous).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
