Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia Thirroul Central Chemist Full time

We are looking for a pharmacy student currently enrolled in their 1st or 2nd year to join our busy neighbourhood pharmacy for 1-3 days per week.

Must be polite, friendly, reliable, well-presented with great attention to detail.

Must be calm, easy-going & able to remain composed and work mistake-free under pressure.

Must be able to work in a team, have excellent health & not someone who gets sick easily. Must be a fast and eager learner.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to: serving customers, taking in & handing out prescriptions, Webster packing, using MedAdviser, answering the phone, restocking shelves, syringe & needle exchange program, Diabetes Australia, ordering & receipting stock into POS, customer accounts, stocktaking, catalogue promotions, cash & eftpos sales, speaking to company reps, banking & change drawer reconciliation, retrieving & filing scripts, petty cash reconciliation, helping with methadone & suboxone preparation, S2/S3 product accreditation and basic cleaning duties.

A full NSW drivers licence with a clean driving history is preferred by our insurance to drive our delivery car.

Pay and conditions are as per the Pharmacy Industry Award 2020.

Previous pharmacy or retail experience is preferred, but not essential.

1) you live further away than a 40-minute commute to/from Thirroul

2) you are not a current student studying a pharmacy degree or course

3) English is not your first language

We understand that studying for pharmacy is a full time course so we are flexible to work with you to try & provide shifts that fit in with your timetable.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $26.55 - $67.90 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
