Here at _Station Street IGA,_ we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our deli team. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for a highly motivated individual who is able to commit to a rotating roster (Monday - Sunday).

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Serving customers.
- Preparing deli displays.
- Using deli machinery and ovens in preparation of foods and customer orders.
- Set up, preparation and close of the deli.
- A high standard of cleaning.
- Cooking chickens in an industrial oven.

**About you**:

- Previous deli experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of Food Safety policies/processes (essential)
- Proven experience with providing excellent customer service (essential)
- Ability to complete manual handling tasks (i.e. repetitive bending, twisting and lifting) (essential)
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative where required
- Ability to work within a fast-paced / team-based environment
- Well presented
- Professional and Excellent communication skills with an extrovert persona
- Good organisational skills and a high standard of hygiene
- Customer service focused
- Understanding of supermarket best practice
- Enthusiasm to work within a team environment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
