Our client, a leading construction company, is seeking a Cloud & Compute Team Lead to join their team in Melbourne on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for leading and managing the team of system administrators and cloud engineers responsible for the maintenance of on-premises VMware infrastructure and Azure public cloud tenancy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, coach, and mentor the system team to ensure optimal performance, professional growth, and cross team collaboration.
- Manage the team's workload by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and a high-quality delivery.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, facilitate regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, share insights and promote knowledge sharing.

**Key skills required**:

- Proven experience in managing both on prem and public cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Cloud administration and team leadership roles.
- Strong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
- Proven leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to motivate and guide technical teams.
- Ability to communicate ideas and solutions in both technical and non-technical language. ITIL Certification and Public cloud administration certification (Azure)
