As our Chef de Cuisine in our Commissary Kitchen, reporting to our Executive Sous Chef, you will be a natural leader in the kitchen and bring the best out of your team every day.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of our guests ensuring that every dish that leaves your kitchen is consistent and delicious.
A few of your responsibilities
Be accountable for leading all aspects of team management
Participate in menu preparation and pricing policies
Develop training plans and conduct on-the-job training sessions
Ensure an open line of communication between the team, management and guests
Attract and retain the right talent into the business
What are we looking for
Proven experience as a Senior Chef with relevant industry qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
Experience managing a lively and fast-paced team
Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Full working rights to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week working varied shifts, including weekends, public holidays, late nights and early mornings
