**The Role**:
Join one of Australia's renowned fashion houses as an experienced Patternmaker on a full time or part time basis. Your role will focus on contemporary women's fashion garments, requiring technical expertise in Lectra or Gerber, or StyleCAD, meticulous attention to detail, and a profound understanding of garment construction and design. You will collaborate closely with the design and production teams for a dynamic and fulfilling experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the design team to create patterns for contemporary women's fashion.
- Optimise patterns for production while preserving artisanal quality.
- Make necessary adjustments for fit and style, conduct fittings, and stay updated on fashion trends and pattern-making techniques.
- Occasionally contribute beyond your specific role for the overall success of the business.

**Ideally You Will Have**:

- 3+ years of pattern-making experience in contemporary women's fashion
- Strong understanding of garment construction and design
- Excellent technical skills in pattern making and grading
- Proficient in industry-standard pattern-making software (Lectra or Gerber)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
