**About the role-**

PPS are seeking Riggers for our project in Paraburdoo on a 3:1 roster with with experience in mining projects.

Applicants with background in supporting water infrastructure highly desirable, as well as:

- Participate in planning discussions and lift studies; considering load characteristics, equipment limitations, and environmental factors
- Implement rigging plans in accordance with established procedures, ensuring efficient and safe operations
- Prepare and inspect loads, considering weight, dimensions, and balance
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other workers
- Set up and operate rigging equipment, such as cranes, hoists, slings, and ropes, to safely lift and move heavy loads ensuring proper positioning, sizing, and securing of rigging equipment
- Utilise rigging equipment to lift and position heavy equipment, machinery, and materials according to project requirements
- Coordinate effectively with operators and team members involved in load movement to ensure smooth and safe operations

**Successful applicants will have**:

- Valid Drivers licence
- Valid HRWL - RB, RI, RS & EWP
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
