**The Role**

Seequent's mining and exploration software helps our customers make critical, strategic decisions across the lifecycle of their operation. With our integrated earth modelling, geo-data management, and team collaboration software they can create a more complete picture of the earth: because with more understanding comes better decisions - for people and the planet.

Seequent is rapidly expanding, especially in the area of data solutions, and we need people who can engage our customers and end-users at both a technical and commercial level. This role will have its primary focus on the technical demonstration, implementation, training, and support of Seequent's key data solutions while retaining a commercial perspective throughout the customer lifecycle. The current portfolio of data solutions includes Central, MX Deposit, Imago, and Seequent Evo, and this may grow through future acquisitions.

This role is all about getting 'up close and personal' (both remote and face-to-face where possible) with users throughout their lifecycle from customer's trialling our software at the pre-purchase stage through to experienced users needing help and/or collaborative consulting services. We want to ensure our customers feel important and are well supported. Being hands-on, analytical, task orientated, and customer focused, this role is responsible for providing well rounded technical support with great product knowledge, quick response times, problem solving, and workflow design.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Proactively identify and create opportunities when contacting our users and potential users (leads).
- Understand our customers' needs and then demonstrate and recommend appropriate solutions and services to them.
- Engage with new and existing clients, including site visits, to assist with establishing and executing sales opportunities, as well as implementing our solutions and associated workflows.
- Conduct demos and webinars and supply information about products prior to sale.
- Become an expert user of our world-leading solutions. Don't worry if your current skill level is low, we will provide training, time, exposure, and everything else you need to become a super-user of our Data Solutions portfolio.
- Assist with the testing and technical assessment of emerging products and features. Have the confidence to challenge the product and convey customer feedback to the product development side of the business to help shape our solutions.
- Work closely with customers to facilitate successful implementation, training, and on-going technical support of Seequent's solutions including integrations with other software as appropriate, including providing collaborative consulting services.

**In order to be successful in this role, you should have**:

- 5-10 years' experience in the mining industry especially data management, and a solid understanding of the mining value chain.
- Substantial experience with database administration and/or configuration of data systems.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in geoscience discipline.
- Technical sales experience would be desirable.
- Flexibility for travel approx. 10-20% of the time within Australia and internationally.
- Confident in oral and written communication, with the ability to interact with all levels of an organisation and passionate about building internal and external relationships.
- Self-starter able to direct your own work to drive projects, customer focussed, with the desire to always achieve a win-win solution.
- Innovative, open and able to work in a fast growing, fast paced environment.
