**The Role**

Due to internal career development, we are seeking a Supply Planner who will be responsible for the delivery of product availability to our customers and teams.

Working with our advanced systems, you will be tasked with developing effective replenishment plans by balancing the needs and requirements of the Big W business with the capabilities of suppliers whilst optimising orders and driving efficiency. You will work collaboratively across business functions including sales forecasting, store planning, Merch teams, and with our supply partners to ensure superior outcomes.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited, are:

- Formulate and execute effective long and short-term supply plans that successfully ensure consistent supply to stores while maintaining efficient working capital within company expectations.
- Optimise our Replenishment ordering systems to achieve the best possible service level for stores.
- Follow processes and communication protocols to ensure tasks are actioned in a timely manner.
- Pro-active management and resolution of supply chain exceptions across the portfolio to ensure service risks are mitigated.
- Provide expert advice to Buying teams and Leadership teams to influence outcomes and best practices relating to service and inventory management.
- Control inventory levels across the portfolio to ensure budgets are met.
- Drive collaborative conversations between Suppliers and BigW to maximise on-shelf availability and freshness of supply.
- Develop/execute seasonal plans, and promotions and support merchandising reviews with stock plans for best execution to the marketplace.
- Understand Supplier and Supply Chain constraints and provide recommendations to optimise ordering patterns and frequency.

**About You
**You are an analytical thinker with a strong Retail/FMCG/Supply Chain background looking for your next role where you can start your career in supply planning. You are looking to further develop your stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence others.

To help you succeed, you will have the following skills & experience:

- Work experience & strong knowledge of Replenishment systems and processes.
- Proven ability to manage, organise and prioritise multiple work assignments within a fast paced environment to achieve business timelines.
- Category, seasonal and event management experience including an understanding of the drivers/influences that impact sales.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external audiences (written form, meetings as well as formal presentation settings).
- High level of attention to detail with confidence in decision-making.
- Exposure to the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry - e.g. Replenishment, Vendor Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, Buying.
- Experience working with global sourced products is desirable.

**You will bring to the role the ability to manage, organise and prioritise multiple work assignments within a fast paced environment to achieve business timelines. You will have exceptional communication skills and a strong knowledge and understanding of Replenishment systems and processes.

- Good negotiation and influencing skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical capabilities and keen attention to detail.
- Exposure to the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry - e.g. Replenishment, Vendor Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, Buying.
- Experience working with global sourced products is desirable.
- Category, seasonal and event management experience including an understanding of the drivers/influences that impact sales
