This is a Great Opportunity Due to patient demand and expansion, we are excited to be looking for a Hygienist/ Oral Health Therapist to join our team, the role will support a new to the practice but very experienced dentist.
We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced colleague who is passionate about creating beautiful healthy smiles that last a lifetime. We are a highly professional and innovative practice with a long established, successful and highly regarded Hygiene department. We have been caring for the community's dental health in Prahran and beyond for over 40 years.
The role will commence on a part-time basis with 2-3 full days being 1-2 morning/afternoon/evening sessions and Saturday. The role will suit an enthusiastic individual who enjoys treating their patients in a supportive caring and positive environment. You will leave work excited to be a Hygienist/ Oral Health Therapist.
In this role, you will educate, nurture and excite your patients to achieve optimal oral and overall health, encouraging them to try new things and develop their skills and achieve their dental health goals. You must be competent at maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records, while adhering to all infection control protocols. You will receive support, guidance and professional development.
Ideally you will
have:
A minimum of 2 years' Australian experience and be registered with APHRA Excellent time management skills, good work ethic and the ability to take initiative Willingness to learn new skills and techniques from our long-term hygiene and dentist team Excellent presentation and communication skills and enjoying working in a team environment that demonstrates caring and empathy to each other Show confidence in your hygiene and oral therapy treatment. The practice is committed to continuing education, coaching and professional development of all our staff.
