Our client is a national organisation who are experiencing exciting growth and development and is a major player in the Retail Sector.

They have a rare job opportunity available for a sharp and talented Retail Sales Assistant to join their Adelaide office, close to the CBD, and work as a
**Buyer's Assistant. ( No previous experience as a buyer's assistant is required)**

**The Role**:

- Working as part of a broader team to ensure overall performance is achieved.
- Assisting in selecting the right product mix for promotions,
- Managing purchase orders, monitoring and maintaining inventory,
- Preparing budgets and providing administrative support.
- Working closely with all vendors ensuring maximisation of all vendor agreements.
- Managing supplier relationships for the optimal benefit of the company.
- Keeping track of market trends as well as suggesting new product styles.
- Writing reports and forecasting sales levels.
- Liaising with shop personnel to ensure supply meets demand.
- Customer service-related tasks such as communication and correspondence with all retail departments, including store and business manager levels.

To achieve the expected deliverables in this fast-paced environment you may have:

- Experience in the Fashion/ Luxury brands/ Jewellery industry is a plus.
- Experience with promotional campaigns, such as in-store POS and catalogues, will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and practices is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Clear and confident communication style.
- Customer service-focused approach to everything you do.
- Solid computer literacy with experience.
- Previous retail experience would be highly advantageous.
