I am seeking a highly organized and proactive **House Manager /** **Personal Assistant** to support a busy professional with a variety of lifestyle and administrative tasks in a private home in Everton Hills, Brisbane.
This is a flexible, subcontract role based in a private residence. While you'll be guided by the homeowner's needs and style, the role is largely independent — ideal for someone who takes initiative and enjoys working with independence.
**Hours**:
6-8 hours per week, over 1-2 days. Immediate start.
Exact shift times are flexible and will be determined. Late morning & afternoon hours are preferred for shifts on-premises.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Running errands (grocery shopping, gift buying, flower replacement, post office runs, returns, pharmacy, etc.)
- Managing household operations and liaising with staff & service providers (housekeeper, gardener, handyman)
- Keeping track of home maintenance - flagging repairs / improvements and booking tradespeople
- Keeping track of household inventory and restocking as needed
- Ensuring the home is tidy, organised and thoughtfully styled at all times
- Some scheduling appointments (personal, medical, home services, etc.)
- Organising weekly meal plans in collaboration with a private chef (to be sourced), based on dietary preferences and schedule
- Organising gifts, cards and wrapping for special occasions
- Selling items on Facebook marketplace
- Managing to-do lists and personal reminders
- Keeping a calm, tidy, and organised system for weekly life tasks and regularly updating the homeowner
**About You**:
- Reliable, trustworthy and non-judgmental.
- Able to manage responsibilities with discretion, positivity and professionalism.
- Highly organised & proactive - thinking ahead, taking initiative, anticipating needs and completing tasks efficiently without supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for neatness and style.
- Flexible & adaptable - Comfortable handling a variety of tasks and adjusting to changing priorities with ease.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Discrete and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Preferably living close to Everton Hills.
- Skilled in management systems - Comfortable tracking tasks, managing inventory, maintaining schedules, and ensuring regular communication.
I am seeking someone who can commit long-term, providing stability and consistency.
You must have a car and a valid driver's license. You will also need to obtain a police check.
