Our manufacturing client, with a footprint in 38 countries, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team.

**Your new role**

The role requires you to support the Financial Accountant with the Accounting function supporting mainly Accounts Receivable, Collection and Credit Analysis.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure ageing is up-to-date, credits and collections are applied, Uncollectable amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
- Performing daily cash management duties
- Processing of banking batches and Credit Card transactions daily
- AR ledger maintenance

**What you'll need to succeed**

**Essential experience**
- Diploma/Degree in accounting (or equivalent) desirable
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable /Credit
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (not essential)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven experience in the AR function
- High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
- Ability to meet deadlines within timeframes through prioritising workload
- Ability to work within a team environment.
