Inspired by the UK's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT), Next Step provides disorder-specific, evidence-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Due to overwhelming demand, we are expanding our team and seeking an enthusiastic clinician to join us.
**About the Role**
As a Mental Health Clinician, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing therapeutic interventions to adults and young people using the IAPT CBT framework.
- Participating in a comprehensive 12-month training and supervision program delivered in partnership with an external CBT training provider.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care for service users.
- Managing a caseload while adhering to best practices in mental health care.

**About You**
We are seeking skilled professionals with:
- Full registration in one of the following:
- APHRA as a psychologist (general or clinical).
- AASW as an accredited mental health social worker.
- ACMHN as a credentialed mental health nurse.
- ACA/PACFA as a fully registered counsellor (Master of Counselling).
- Better Access to Mental Health endorsed occupational therapist.
- Experience in the mental health sector, working with individuals across the lifespan.
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based interventions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
- A sensitive and impartial approach when working with clients and families under stress.
Other Requirements:
- A current driver's licence.
- An ACT Working with Vulnerable People card.
- Willingness to undergo a national police check.
