**About the Role**
Reporting to the **Conversion Supervisor**, the **Fitter** position is responsible for assembling, fitting, and dismantling equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role involves mechanically fitting components for sub-assemblies of electric vehicles and associated equipment.
**Responsibilities**
- **Assembly and Fitting**: Assemble components and equipment using hand and power tools according to engineering specifications.
- **Quality Assurance**: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time taken for each job.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Completion of a Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining)
- Previous experience in a similar position within the automotive industry
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical components is an advantage
- Proficiency in using tools and instruments
