Our client, a large reputable and prominent mining company in Broken Hill is seeking Fitters for permanent/full-time positions.

**The positions will be a MIX of underground AND workshop locations on a 7:7 roster with a rotation of day and night shift.**

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, you will primarily be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance on both breakdown and servicing on mobile and fixed plant equipment.

In addition to this you'll also be required to
- Undertake planned corrective maintenance tasks
- Act on breakdown maintenance requests
- Provide support to maintain plant and equipment

**To be successful in this role you must have -**
- Relevant Mechanical Trade Certificate, including, but not limited to - Light Vehicle, Mechanical Engineering and/or Heavy Diesel/Fitter
- Experience working on mobile and fixed plant
- Experience with Epiroc development and production drills, Epiroc 5020/6020 trucks, CAT 2900 Loaders and CAT AD45B trucks (highly desirable)
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets (desirable)
