Coordinate activities within the Queensland Children's Hospital precinct and undertake a range of tasks associated with the storage of goods in a safe manner and in accordance with supply and demand.About The TeamThe Materials Distribution team at Children's Health Queensland (CHQ) is a small, highly efficient unit responsible for managing key logistical operations across the organisation.
The team oversees the movement of goods from the loading dock to wards and other hospital locations, ensuring the smooth and timely receipt and dispatch of materials.
They also manage internal mail services and play a vital role in clinical consumable ordering to support continuity of care and operational readiness.About The RoleIn this role, you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people, and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework, the Queensland Public Service, and the CHQ values.
Your responsibilities will include:Preparing reports by developing report specifications, accessing report data, and interpreting relevant information.Assisting with store-related records: identifying record management databases, storage types, and technologies; using record management systems to retrieve, store, and maintain relevant records.Undertaking computing tasks including scanning assigned imprest locations, reporting, and stores management and cataloguing activities.About Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS)Children's Health Queensland is a recognised leader in paediatric healthcare, teaching, and research.
