Overview
Retail Assistant role atUnitingCare Queensland(Lifeline).
This is a Christmas casual position commencing in September and ending January 2026, with potential hours after this date if you're seeking longer term work.
Employment Term:Christmas casual position, September to January 2026 (possible hours after January for longer-term employment).
Location:Floating position across Lifeline Retail stores in Northlakes, Burpengary, Rothwell, Brendale and Lawnton.
Remuneration:$33.18 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (tax savings) + commission program for high performers.
Responsibilities
Ensure product merchandising and store presentation are of a high standard.
Complete inventory management and stocktaking.
Assist customers with enquiries and sales.
Qualifications & Requirements
Passion for retail and a genuine desire to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Passion for your local community and building relationships to understand local needs.
Ability to recognise potential and promote store growth.
Self-motivated with initiative, positive attitude and good personal presentation.
Ability to provide first-class customer service and work independently or as part of a team.
Availability to work weekends.
