Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate woodworking machines and tools to produce precision wooden products.
Ensure that machines are set up to cut wood as per designs, specifications and drawings
Adjust and calibrate machine settings to ensure accurate cuts and shaping
Select and measure wood stock for cutting, planning, turning, shaping, lathe work, or sanding.
Monitor machine operations, adjusting as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
Use hand tools and power tools to shape and finish wood products using wood products such as varnishes, stains, lacquers, paint.
Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards
3 years of work experience minimum in the industry
Proven ability to operate an
Edge Bander
,
Panel Saw
, and various
Woodworking Machines
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Experience in setting up, calibrating, and maintaining woodworking equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical plans or specifications (preferred)
A safety-first mindset and familiarity with workplace health and safety standards
