**Dog Daycare Manager - Newstead**

Kip Happy Stays have just secured their newest location for their first dog daycare to open in QLD Located in the riverside suburb of up-and-coming Newstead, Kip's newest dog daycare is expected to set tails wagging

We are on the howl for a dog mad, management extraordinaire to join us as the Manager of Kip Newstead. It's time to build your career doing something you love, in this unique and dynamic leadership role in dog daycare.

As the Manager at Kip Newstead, you will be responsible for driving growth in the business, building the team and providing a high level of care to our canine guests. As a leader in our organisation, you will need to embody our core values of transparency, trust and care.

The role will be a full-time, permanent role. Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am-6.30pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Working in the day-to-day operations of our facility
- Liaising with customers, answer enquiries and manage bookings
- Delivering a high level of customer service and quality of care
- Lead, motivate and coach a high performing team
- Maintain social media page and field enquiries
- Staff training and guidance, in line with company policy
- Regular assessment of property needs including maintenance
- Monthly Inventory management
- Responsible for acting and investigating any animal health concerns

Experience and Skills:

- Experience handling various temperaments of dogs
- Competent with computer systems
- Excellent communication skills and experience in customer service
- Passion for problem solving and high attention to detail
- A can-do attitude, initiative to get extra work done
- Quick learner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a cool head under pressure
- Having great time management, and commitment to deliver quality in work output

Key Requirements:

- Must have experience in leadership
- Paid experience working with dogs will be looked upon favourably
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to socialise dogs of all breeds
- Certificate II in Animal Studies will be looked upon favourably
