**Job Details**:

- 5 month contract
- Offering $45p/h plus super
- Full time hours
- Located in Holt, Canberra

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide individual advocacy, addressing client's concerns and helping them navigate complex systems.
- Engage in systemic advocacy to influence policy and drive reform at local and government levels.
- Offer tailored support to a dedicated group of clients, ensuring access to resources and guidance.
- Manage briefings and coordinate decision-making processes involving community and government stakeholders.

**What We're Looking For**:

- **Relevant Experience**: Background in policy, advocacy, or the community sector, particularly in roles involving government systems and service provision.
- **Communication & Empathy**: Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.
- **Autonomy & Growth**: Ability to work with guidance initially, transitioning to independent decision-making.
- **Emotional Intelligence**: Demonstrated capability to support carers through challenging situations, helping prevent burnout and navigate systemic obstacles.
