Early Years Practitioner

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have: Knowledge and experience of working with children aged 2 - 5 years of age; experience of supporting children to learn through play; a nurturing and inclusive approach to supporting learners to fulfil their potential.
Duties
Contribute to the planning and implementing of engaging experiences in line with the developmental needs of each child.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
Support the management in leading the nursery team, providing guidance and mentorship to new staff as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies regarding health, safety, and safeguarding.
Experience
Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
A qualification suitable for registration with SSSC as a Practitioner in Daycare of Children is essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 33.75 per week
