We are Artifex Australia, a leading Australian manufacturer of residential and commercial furniture. We are strictly wholesale and have been distributing our designs across Australia for over 40 years. We are one of only a few Australian manufacturers that do everything in house, from cutting foam to making bespoke metal frames, unique timber furniture hardware and quality upholstery finishes.

We currently have a great team of over 20 staff, and are now looking for another team member in production working in our sewing and cutting department.

Based in Kelmscott Western Australia, we are seeking the services of a motivated person wanting to be trained in all aspects of furniture manufacturing while assisting the tradesmen and with deliveries and installs. The training aspect will include timber work, foaming, and frame making, even welding and fabricating. The labouring side will be to help wherever required, loading trucks, cleaning factory, keeping everything clean and tidy, helping tradesmen, etc. Must take pride in their work with an aptitude towards hand tools and machinery. We will offer a competitive rate based on your experience and abilities.

Permanent position after a trial/probation period of 3 months.

38hr work week, Mon-Thur 8hrs, Fri 6hrs with potential over time.

Tools and equipment supplied.

Parking Onsite.
