Our services help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes.About the roleWe currently have positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Workers to join our team providing care support in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect.
You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.This is a casual to part-time position, initially starting on a casual basis with transition to part-time expected once regular shifts are allotted.Responsibilities will include:Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each clientAssisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic dutiesAssisting clients with daily errands, companionship and supportProviding support with academic, social or recreational activitiesPreparing food, feeding clients and administering medicationsObserve, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the clientResponding to emergency situationsCriteria:Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent (essential)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to learn, develop and take on new challengesNational Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)NSW Working with Children CheckDrivers LicenceFirst AidCPR Certificate (Valid within last 12 months)Don't have a Cert III but have great hands-on experience?
