IGA Mosman Fresh is seeking to employ a part-time Barista/Café All-rounder.

We are seeking someone who has a real passion for food & coffee, are customer service orientated & thrive on ensuring that high standards are met.

The position would require the suitable applicant to work as Barista 1-2 shifts & Café All-rounder for up to 3 shifts per week.

Our Café focuses on takeaway trade and is open 6am-3pm with Deli open from 6am to 8pm.

We use locally roasted Rubra Coffee, a Dalla Corte Evo2 3 group espresso machine and an auto grinder.

We want someone with personality who can continue to build our loyal customer following.

You will be responsible for opening and closing, cash handling, store presentation and maintenance of the espresso machine and grinder.

Have experience;
- In a high volume café
- Preparing Juices and Smoothies
- Preparing sandwiches, rolls, paninis & salads
- Setting up and replenishing of cold, hold food display cases
- Preparing & cooking of hot foods & baking of breads & pastries
- Be able to multi-task between coffee and till service
- Be well-organised and clean
- Be independent or a team player as the role requires
- Have an outgoing and friendly personality

The successful applicant may be required to work some evenings, weekends & public holidays. You will also be required to have a high food safety hygiene standard.

6 months prior experience in a deli/café/food preparation environment is essential.
