**About the role**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and solution focused Warehouse Assistant to join our Detmold Medical business. This is a hands-on role that will see you collaborating across our warehouse, production and sales teams, to ensure we are delivering on the promise of quality, service and efficiency to our internal and external customers.
You will be supporting sales orders and customer enquiries, coordinating internal and external delivery of goods, proactively preparing warehouse summaries and reports, supporting weekly consumable stock counts and management of aged stock, accurately undertaking data entry into the relevant systems (e.g., QAD), and participating in any other administrative support activities.
**What you will bring to the team**
- A safety-first mindset and ability to lead by example when it comes to safety in the workplace.
- Previous demonstrated experience in a similar high volume environment (preferably FMCG).
- Current high risk licence and/or experience operating a forklift (desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to complete data entry and documentation with accuracy and pace.
- Strong customer focused approach, and proven ability to solve problems and adjust priorities as required.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with demonstrated ability to build relationships.
- Sound computer skills, and understanding of both GMP and inventory management processes.
