**A brilliant opportunity for two trend-driven Assistant Category Managers has arisen in our client's team These roles will look after the Appliances and Electronics/TV categories, driving growth, profitability and innovation.**

Whether you're a recent Merchandising graduate who is ready to kickstart their career or a Buyer's assistant looking for a new challenge, if you have an eye for trend and a passion for Buying, this could be just the role you've been waiting for

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting Category Managers in sourcing new products at all stages
- Assisting the Category Managers in day-to-day activities and administrative tasks
- Identifying trending, in-demand products
- Preparing and reviewing product listing
- Prepare all supplier planning strategy presentations and documentation.
- Point of contact for suppliers for forms & new deal information
- Monitoring performance and completing range reviews across your category and taking action where necessary

**About You**:

- University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Business or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills, along with the ability to use various IT and cloud-based tools.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Previous Buying experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
- Highly analytical and adaptable
