**About the Centre/Service**

Columbia Park Early Learning Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit long day education and care centre, offering an integrated kindergarten program for 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds. Located in Wheelers Hill, on Wurundjeri Country in Melbourne's southeast, our centre features a newly upgraded natural outdoor environment and is surrounded by open parkland. We foster a professional and positive work culture, delivering an innovative, play-based educational program in a well-resourced setting. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, and enriching learning environment where every child experiences a sense of belonging, engages in the present moment, and actively participates as a valued member of their community. A key focus of our centre is building strong, collaborative partnerships with children, families, and the wider community.

**Description**

**Qualifications**
- Mandatory Qualifications
- Cert III Educator, OR equivalent qualifications is essential for this position (this qualification must be NQF approved)
- Knowledge of the NQS, EYLF, VEYLDF, OH&S and National Law and Regulations
- Demonstrated experience and skills in early childhood education programs, communication, problem solving abilities, and teamwork
- Certificates and Checks: Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate and CPR, Asthma Management Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management Certificate are essential
- Mandatory Reporting and other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector
- All About Allergen Training
- Food Safety certificate
- National Police Check
- Working with children check
