Defence Security Expert Role
The Defence Security Expert role is a pivotal position within the defence industry, where professionals collaborate to safeguard national security and deliver complex projects that have a lasting impact on Australia's future.
Develop in-depth reports on security systems and software for related projects.
Create requirements for the refresh of the D-ICT system with regards to security policy and tools.
Evaluate software and provide informed recommendations.
Design high-level security solutions for the D-ICT refresh.
Oversee the deployment of the solution in the D-ICT environment.
A minimum NV1 security clearance is essential.
Previous experience as a Security Engineer within defence projects or environments is required.
Industry-certified security qualifications are highly valued.
Prospective candidates must currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some cases, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
