**Introduction**:
We're on the hunt for a Function Manager with superstar barista skillset and the creative drive to build experiences from the ground up.
This isn't your typical cafe role. You'll manage daily cafe operations, lead by example behind the machine, and take ownership of special functions and pop-up concepts — from the first spark of an idea, all the way to execution.
**What You'll Do (Day-to-Day)**:
Run the cafe floor and ensure smooth daily service
Deliver exceptional coffee with consistency and care
Maintain quality, pace, and positivity across the team
Lead staff, manage stock, and support a clean, efficient operation
**What You'll Do (Function & Project Side)**:

- Conceptualise new functions, events for our client.
- Build menus that align with the vision (costed, styled, practical)
- Collaborate with chefs, staff, and suppliers to bring it to life
- Plan timelines, staffing, and delivery schedules
- Oversee execution to ensure the end product matches the concept
- Reflect, review, and refine for future rollouts

**Description**:
**Who You Are**:
A skilled Barista with proven experience delivering high-volume, high-quality coffee
Confident in leading a cafe team and owning day-to-day operations
Passionate about creating memorable food and drink experiences
Able to conceptualise, plan, and deliver - from menu to event
A clear communicator, natural organiser, and cool under pressure
Experienced in cafe management or function coordination (bonus if you've done both)

**Skills and Experiences**:
**What We Require From You**:
Food Safety Certification (highly desirable)
Previous experience managing a school canteen or similar environment (highly desirable)
Ability to work under high pressure situations and catering in large volumes
Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with students, parents and teachers
